How to Give Up Perfectionism

The next step is to give the patient a new belief. The semantic technique means you just reword things. It should retain all some if not all of the advantages of perfectionism. And then at the same time minimizing or completely getting rid of the disadvantages. So instead of telling yourself I should never make mistakes I should be perfect my worth equals my achievement what new value system will you give yourself? You can do this at the small group level, but let me just say ahead of time. When you try to do that they may come up with new beliefs that are equally problematic as the perfectionism that you can try to do.
