Cryptozoology

It is incredibly unlikely that a bird that large could exist in the us. To day without being discovered, cause it would have to have a wide territorial range. Early human encounters with brutal, gigantic avian preditors also probably occurred. It feels like somebody at some point would have seen something this big just flying in its dufy, dangerous way through the air and pean on itself as it goes,. And maybe the bird just gets a little bit larger each time.
