The Story of Stomo Yamaguchi

Stomo Yamaguchi had the misfortune of experiencing one of the worst events in world history, Twice. The estimated number of people who may have survived both attacks ranges from 75 to 165. In 1957, the Japanese government recognized survivors of the atomic blast as Hibakusha and were entitled to free medical care for life. Stomo Yamaguchis died on January 4, 2010, at the age of 93 from stomach cancer.
