The big society story this week was the bomb dropped by Mark and Driesen when he published a 7000 word essay on why AI will save the world. Their fear is of course that between now and whenever legislation gets finished there could be significant increases in online disinformation because of generative AI so this would be a way they say to potentially combat that.
