Rust gives you the headache first compared to other languages. Rust makes you do your thinking ahead of time which is a good trade-off for programmers often used to but that Rust doesn't explicitly address very explicitly. I think as a programmer if you come in to trying to learn learn those intermediate things about rust and you don't have a solid understanding of the memory model you're working in or that rust tries to target you're gonna have a real hard time under not necessarily understanding the mechanism but understanding why they're there understand the motivation for it.
