How Do You Pay Todd Combs and Ted Weschler?

Berkshire gives Todd Combs and Ted Weschler 10% of the amount by which their Portfolios beat the S&P. They get one point for example when we get nine points But we do it on a three-year rolling basis so that you don't get the seesaw effect. Each one gets paid 80% based on their own efforts and 20% based on the other persons So that they have every incentive to operate in a collaborative way rather than jealously guarding their own ideas.
