Buddhism was the first step into an alternate worldview that I didn't even know could exist, or even if I did exist, I easily dismissed before. But now I think there's a lot of legitimacy to this idea of retreat and meditation. And my probably very unpopular and uncommon intuition is that these two lives are just fundamentally incompatible.
