Queensland Consumers Are Starting to Get a Bit More Confident
There's going to be a bit of this thing in the tail there because the fuel excise cut of 22 cents a liter actually expires at the end of September. Global freight rates, I mean they're practically half from where they were last year. And yes, we're tracking a bit behind what's happening in the US with things like power prices and rent hikes still to flow through. But by next month the Reserve Bank will have actually hiked about what 225 basis points - that's clearly starting to work as well.
