Introduction

Ozone is made up of three oxygen atoms. It's found in particularly high concentrations in a thin section of the Earth's atmosphere known as the ozone layer. We have absolutely no life on the planet surface if we didn't have an ozone layer. The ozone layer protects us from certain wavelengths of ultraviolet light that nothing else can help us with. If we damage it, we'll have all kinds of biological damage ranging from skin cancer to cataracts and human beings.
