The Importance of Privilege in Music
Most places have less freedoms than we do. As much as we think that they're like equally as free as we are, they're not. In Egypt and Saudi Arabia at metal shows, there's always plain clothes under cover cops there just watching them to make sure there's no subversive message in the lyrics. We really do actually have immense privilege here where you can just kind of artistically express yourself in any way. Nobody has a bracket right. If you go lean too far one way, the other way suffers. Like nobody is like gotten it right.
