Loch Ness has not historically had reports of placiosore-like animals living in it. Instead, like many other lakes and rivers in Scotland, it was reportedly the home of creatures known as kelpies, waterhorses, and water bowls. The Inverness courier opened its story by saying Loch Ness has for generations been credited with being the home of a fearsome looking monster. But that doesn't mean what you think.
