What Is a Traditional Gift for a Negative Wedding Anniversary?
There are two sets of wedding anniversary gifts: traditional and modern. Traditional ones started roughly in the sort of mid to late 1800s. That's, you know, peak, weird etiquette era. Love marriages became more popular between French and American revolutions. In Tibet women will have children with men outside their community. They then raise them on their own without any recognised parents. The gift giving thing started in Germany but spread across Europe after World War I. It was basically a European version of shot-of-the-star presents.
