The Story of Jim Baker

Jim Baker was born premature and spent the first days of his life on an incubator at the hospital. His stern Dutch family as he later described them let caution for their son's health lead to a complete lack of physical contact and even emotional warmth. Jim describes how quote mom and dad considered me so fragile that they didn't allow my brothers and sisters to even breathe on me. As a result during his childhood he never experienced the sensation of my family members touched.
