Trama Informed Care and Chronic Pelvic Pain

Just because somebody's coming to you with chronic pelvic pain doesn't mean their consenting to a pelvic exam from you. One thing that i took away as kind of a good tip was, you know, examining with potentially, like a cotton swab to look for hyperalgesia. Diagnostic wise, she really wasn't ordering much. She did order some screening for sexually transmitted infections, youranalysis, pregnancy test and a pelvic ultra sound if you're thinking the pelvic organs might be involved. Pretty much in our wheel house, right?
