The Valley of Wonders

There are records therar newspaper accounts, souvenirs kept in the offices and homes of those who made that day possible. We're told by a number of sources that the valley was discovered by some nineteenth century cowboys out searching for lost cattle. Cowboys didn't discover a place where pictographs and other evidence left behind by native people had already been there for some uncertain number of centuries. So far, they have figured out that those visitors were utes and piutes. And before them were members of the fremont tribe,. we know relatively little, not even what they called themselves.
