McArthur and the TLS

Mark O'Connell met Arthur McArthur over the course of a year sometimes in person sometimes on the phone as I understand it. There are a few extraordinary nuggets that come out of that there's a lot of stuff about especially his early life he doesn't speak in such detail for a long time about the killings but eventually does do get around to that. He may well write things that McArthur doesn't like and he's he's absolutely gonna write his own book what McArthur is persuaded by O'Connell's credentials as a serious writer and thinker  and comes to see him as something of a peer and intellectual peer someone he can have a decent back and forth with.
