The Importance of Teacher-Student Relationships in Avicenna's Philosophy

In addition to having teachers, Avicenna had students and we have one text for example called the Muba Hatat. How significant do you think that these relationships were for him? Do you think they had a major impact on the way that his philosophy developed? Increasingly, as we study these texts better, we find out that it was indeed very important in the later stages of his life.
