What's the Six Foot Standard for Grave Depth?

The six foot standard for grave depth dates to 1665 when the Lord may or a London ordered all graves to be dug at least six feet deep as an anti plague measure. Some states require that if you're going to ship a body out of the state or into the state that it has to be embalmed. Embalming doesn't do anything. There are regulations about burial, but they mostly involve people who have an infection, died of something contagious.
