The Promise Is Not Without an Oath
The only oath that this book tions is the one taken in psalm 110. Because of this oath, jesus has become the guaranteur of a better covenant. To day, people swear by all kinds of things, but always looking at the person by whom we swear. I swear on my mother's grave. Cross my heart and hope to die. Swear by what keeps my body functioning in our court. Still, i swear with my right hand on this bible.
