The 1992 WHO meeting was a breakthrough moment in our understanding of these issues. Sugar is part of it but so is fat as well and I think there is this huge increase in obesity worldwide. The most worrying side is not just actually being a little bit overweight. It's the extent of obesity. We're seeing the fat getting extremely fat.
