A study conducted by Harvard on veterans who had served in Vietnam and they found that 52 percent of them experienced repeated nightmares compared to six percent of the civilian population. I think it just goes to show how our brain and more importantly our subconscious is really out of out of our controller times except for in the case of lucid dreaming.
