The Effects of Stress on the Immune Response
Stress or fear induction could lead to activation of the central amygdala which would then activate the splenic nerve and lead to change is in the immune response so they use now a kind of a whirlwind of the greatest neuroscience techniques to address this. They first use an ablation approach similar to the diphtheria toxin ablation but they use cast base expression that leads to apoptosis when it's activated. Finally they show they use the gq dread to activate these neurons and they show that this enhances the immune response with from brain regions within the central nervous system.
