Is It a Chatbot, or a Google Replacement?
It's being trained on existing human, human interactions. That does limit its ability to reason. It is seen these words strung together and it's able to generate some kind of structure around them. But there is no reference to some external truth or reality. And in my opinion, if you want to trust this thing as some big source of information, it's got to have principles beyond monkey engineering.
