The Ethical Issues With Changing Human Size

There was a study that looked at women who were evaluated for tall stature. One of the main factors correlated with later depression was whether they felt like they ought to make the decision themselves. This gets at one of the key ethical issues with changing human size. Even if we do have a fool proof way of shrinking people, should we and who gets to make that decision? I do think there is a slippery slope here.
