The Difference Between Faith and Reason
There's a distinction between whether supposing that Luther's right that there's a difference. Is that an essential difference or is it a merely continued difference? So if you're leaning on just the fact that this is the way God set up nature and this is the how God set up salvation history, might be just as a matter of continued fact that you can't know everything you need to know without reading the Bible. But Luther seems to want to say something stronger: There's something making this strong contrast between reason and faith. If you try to reach God through reason alone you're never going to get there.
