How to Shorten Your Emotional Outbursts
Right mindfulness is simply becoming aware of the thoughts, feelings, sensations and sounds as they come and they go. It allows you to cultivate a certain ability to step back and watch those processes play out without getting swept up in them. The next time you get angry, rjealous or anxious, how you can sort of drop away from fuelling those states of being with with thoughts and justifying them. Fall away from that, feel them just as energy in the body, and watch them come and go. Right in permanence. Everything that arises falls away. Ah, and that that is pushing in the direction of right effort. And this is meditation. This is the practice when you sit down
