The Explosion of Cartoons in the 1980s
The original concept by Marvel's Bob Bodiansky, Jim Shooter, and Dennis O'Neill became a four-issue comic book series. The three-part TV pilot miniseries was co-produced between Marvel productions and Sunbat productions. Japanese designer Shohei Kohara gave the toy line a more approachable look.
