The Problem With Google's Price Return Plotting
If you're only looking at the price returns of something like a bond ETF, you're going to lose money. If I buy a high yield bond or really any bond, what is my return coming from? It's coming from the coupon,. But if you're not taking into account all the income that was generated over time, all you're left with is the defaults and noise.
