Is Religion a Relation, Not a Religion?

The word religion is, o itself. It's a part of the relationship to god. That's what religion describes and something. When you would talk about religion, it really kind of meant christianity. But now it's become so broad that that's what's happened with religion. Where berkoff, when he's writing, the word religion, didn't have that kind of negative contation - right? Right?
