Biotech Startup Announces First Patient Enrolled in Clinical Trial
Up to 190 million women are expected to be affected by endometriosis globally. Despite this, women wait an average of eight years and over 10 doctor visits to be diagnosed. US startup has enrolled their first patient in a diagnostic study for the condition. They've developed a test which is called Metri DX that analyzes cells obtained from the patients endometrium. It uses this analysis to diagnose them withendometriosis. And they've also raised two million pounds,. two million dollars in seed funding and they're currently raising series A.
