How Does Cigarette Smoking Effect Longevity?

On average, a person who smokes regularly has about a one and two chance of dying of a tobacco related illness. On average, from population studies, what we know is that smoking reduces life expectancy by about ten years. And can you discuss some rist factors that have been associated with higher rates of smoking in the us? Smoking is more prevalent in people with lower incomes, less education, people with other substanceous disorders, people with co morbid psychiatric diagnoses like anxiety or depression.
