G Protein Coupled Receptors Are So Important and So Important That They're So Important
The G protein coupled receptors always have this G protein trimeric sub unit and that is then activated when the receptor receives its signal. The beta gamma and the alpha sub units can then kind of go and do their own thing once they've done that. Eventually they'll be their sort of activation will be spent and they'll re-associate with each other and then re-attach to the receptor so it's a process there They're activated they separate the GTP is energized with the G protein then they do their thing and then eventually their energy sort of is depleted theyre-associate and then attach back to the receptor and they wait for another signal so that's sort of the whole
