The Importance of Being Emotionally Connected

Tavia Butler: I'm not a person who can hear a dialect and then masterfully recreate it perfectly. That's not the point for me. My skill and talent is in being authentic, making dialogue sound like it is conversation between two or five people. So I want my dialect work and my character work to sound real and believable.
