i was having a lot of fun, but i was also like really overthinking that. Just because somebody is smart and a good conversationalist doesn't necessarily mean that youare good friends. The number one thing to me is emotional safety. Almost all of my friends are people that have initially either reached out to me because they heard something i put out in the world or read my book.
