What Is a Stock?
We're in a time right now where there's a lot of market volatility. You have a whole chapter of your book based on why the market goes up and down. I want to talk about how, over long periods of time, the market, the market kind of has to go up if the economy's going to continue. A stock represents fractional ownership of a corporation. When you are buying a stock, you are becoming a very small part owner of that business.
