Walter McMillan was an innocent Alabama business owner who, despite credible alibis and no tangible evidence, was sentenced to death for the murder of an 18-year-old white woman. Brian helped get Walter's conviction overturned after prosecutors agreed that the case had been mishandled. He spent six years on death row, including a full year before he even went to trial.
