React Decoupling - A Great Way to Decouple React From React

A lot of times, you don't really need to show the user all of this intermediate state changes. You could do your computations on state that doesn't live inside React and then have a timer in your React component that every second triggers React to re-render your progress bar or whatever it is. This would be a fantastic technique to pull out whenever you are running into these situations where you're like, oh, I have a bunch of intermediate state. Maybe I want to show some of it so it feels responsive and there's something going on.
