Introduction

Most of the political terms and concepts that we use every day are empty verbs. We looked at how this makes us easier to manipulate, turning politics into a game of competing identity groups. And we came to the conclusion that the way that you get some one to do what you want them to do is by exercising your bargaining power. But before we start looking at how we exercise and increase our bargaining power, we need to understand what the political right and left are all about. There are no political words more misunderstood and abused than left and right.
