Caas's Legacy

Caías supported the Mataristas and, when they overthrew Dias, was awarded with a job as a police commissioner. He spent most of the wars up in Agua Prieta, maintaining the lines of trade to the United States. When Obergone took up the presidency, Caías became Minister of the Interior. De La Huerta started canvassing his own supporters to see what might happen if he challenged Obergone and Caías in the election of 1924.
