Project Texas: A Solution to the TikTok Problem

TikTok CEO mentioned something called Project Texas. It purports to give CFIUS the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States oversight capabilities. That's a half measure because that doesn't deal with an aspect of tech policy where the Chinese Communist Party could potentially have leverage over people with access to the data. A wholesale ban from operations in the US market is the only solution to protect our data and frankly to protect our children.
