The Importance of Inventory and Working Progress in Manufacturing

The key to it all though, was we didn't go out and hire bunch manufacturing people. We went out and hired engineers. And it's led to one of the healthiest relationships between an engineering and man acturing group i've ever seen in my life. I often apply the scale to computer companies and how they look atmanufacturing. Most computer companies are stage one. They wish software had never been invented. In stage five, we start everything with software and work back to the factory as a problem. But anyway, this is really just a software problem with robots called io devices. That's all so interesting."
