Climate Silence in the Newsroom
For a long time there's been what i call scientific illiteracy in a lot of newsrooms. The science story was put on the science desk, if there even was a science desk. But the higher ups inside the newsroom, the managing editors, the executive producers and broadcasts, they tended to not under and science very much. And so you had the problem, that the reporters knew it pretty well, but their bosses, the people who decide what actually goes on the air orar on the web site, they did not.
