Is Baptism a Good Thing?

In the old testament infants are as part of a household, that when is baptized, who is the head of the household, the rest of the household is baptized with them. An this principle comes from the old testament, and there are numerous examples of this in the old testament. As we get into the new covenant, that there is only continuity in that area. God makes the new covenant more inclusive, not less inclusive. You know, it was jews, now it's jews and gentiles. Now men and women receive baptism. It makes no sense.
