The Paleolithic Period

Paleolithic period is also known as the Stone Age, and that's because early humans would use stones and sometimes bones to make simple tools. Researchers first found this particular seashell back in 1931 at the entrance to a cave in southern France. It just sat around on a backroom shelf with a bunch of other old relics for the next 85 years. But it says here that in 2016, an archaeologist by the name of Carol Fritz from the University of Toulouse in France, found the shell in the museum's archives.
