A lot of times people use their biceps like they're bending their elbows to get their chin up to the bar but instead what we should be thinking about is how can we move our trunk up towards the bar. That requires more of the lat group and more of that kind of serratus and posterior stabilization so yeah it's like it's taking the trunk up rather than just bending our elbows. It's hard for women who have a art you know great climbers but maybe our challenge to even do one push-up or a pull-up because they're not engaging from their trunk, he says.
