The Importance of International Law in Foreign Policy

I would prefer that if they're going to act with complete illegality and impunity on their side, don't pretend that you're going to charge Vladimir Putin in a court of law. It's absolutely comical and insane. The realest foreign policy people make a lot more sense. They're like, this is basically, this is a gang, a bed of gang members, and they're in conflict with each other. And maybe they'll fight, maybe they'll steal from each other,maybe they'll kill some innocent people on the way. That's fine. Don't try to dress it up in this legal, moral framework, which everyone knows doesn't exist.
