How to Mute People on Twitter

Twitter has the functionality that you can mute people. But because there are so many of them now, particularly some of them, I've muted for excessive replying. And it reminded me a bit of that episode of Black Mirror where they had that technology where you could actually mute humans and they just became like TV fuzz? That's what it's like Twitter for me now. It's like, I know they're saying things, but I can't hear or see what they're saying. The mute button is for life.
