The fear people have if they don't reverse diet is that all of a sudden it's going to throw everything off. The good news about that is that when you get back to maintenance, the fear about gaining a bunch of weight is not really something to worry about because your body is very tolerant of those changes in calories. And this leads to a misunderstanding of what we mean when we say reverse dieting.
