Pyrus and the Carthaginians in the Italian Peninsula
The world was entering the third century b c e. And this would mean the interference in affairs of epirus, the pyric war. Epyrus was a greek state which can be found on the modern ma equivalent to the southern portion of the modern country of albania. While apyrus was gaining status, the roman republic centred on rome in the west coast of the italian peninsula had also been gaining territory. Pyrus enjoyed victories over the romans but he really didn't have the resource to take rome. So he just plundered what he could and then made a strategical decision in two 78, b, c, e, to attack the car
