Professor hannah valentine is a professor of medicine at stamford university, an expert on cardiac transplant. She has worked intensely with micro biologists to understand the infections that may be in transplanted hearts and with bio engineers to figure out ways to sense when a heart is being stressed out in its new environment. During her career, she realized that diversity of the team, both the researchers and study participants was critical for new discoveries.
